This form is intended for businesses wishing to operate as a Mobile Vendor on property owned by the Town of Greater Napanee. Please complete all the questions below.

Class 1 - Cooking: A vehicle equipped with facilities for cooking, selling, offering for sale, serving and/or dispensing of refreshments. Includes but is not limited to food trucks.

Class 2 – Non-Cooking: A vehicle that is designed for selling, offering for sale, serving, and/or dispensing of refreshments and/or prepackaged items, but does not cook or heat food on site. Includes but is not limited to vehicles such as catering trucks.

Class 3 – Motorized Street Service: A mobile vehicle without cooking or heating facilities designed for selling, offering for sale, serving and/or dispensing of frozen refreshments that can move freely throughout the Town, but that can only conduct sales on public streets.

Class 4 – Human Powered Street Service: A manual powered cart that is used for selling, offering for sale, serving and/or dispensing of refreshments that can move freely throughout the Town, but that can only conduct sales on public streets. Includes but is not limited to bicycle ice cream carts.

Class 5 - Other Mobile vendor type not offering food or refreshments for sale and is not included in classes 1 through 4.

The following table provides information on the locations and types of sites available at each municipal park where Mobile Vendor Units are permitted. Please refer to the table for locations and make your selection in priority order.

With the exception of Class 3, no other Vendor Class is permitted in residential areas.

In order for your park permit and licence to be issued, please submit the following items using the attachment option below.

Refreshment vendors only: List of menu items to be served and Food Vendor Licence from KFL&A Public Health Unit (inspection required annually)
For operators with heating elements, proof of your most recent Fire Inspection (required annually)
For operators with gas/propane tanks, proof of compliance with Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) (required annually)
Site plan showing the location of the vendor, seating, garbage disposal, other buildings on the site, anticipated customer flow, and number of parking spaces being occupied
Proof of commercial general liability insurance
Payment in full
