Will you require barricades, pylons, or other traffic control devices? Please note, while the Town provides traffic control devices for local not-for-profit events at no cost, the organizer is responsible for staffing the road closure during the event.
 
Will you require the closures of any municipal parking lots or stalls?
 
Is this road closure an eligible local not-for-profit event under the Town’s Community Event Policy?
 

The following documents may be uploaded here or submitted directly to Town staff through the application process: 

  • A sketch of the proposed road closure, including location of traffic control devices and detour routes, if applicable. 
  • The communication plan for any businesses or residents located within the road closure area. 
  • The proposed safety plan, including the proposed entrance and egress for emergency vehicles during the closure and proposed staffing to set up and maintain the road closure.  
  • Proof of liability insurance for the event naming the Town of Greater Napanee as additional insured.
