Community Initiatives Fund Advisory Committee Application Form

The Town of Greater Napanee is seeking to appoint 5 residents to a newly created Community Initiatives Fund Advisory Committee. The Committee will review grant applications from local not-for-profit organizations and will replace the current process for grant applications to the Atura Power Community Development Fund. The Committee will be required to meet a minimum of twice per year to review applications for the spring and fall grant intake periods, and will make grant award recommendations to Council whose decision will be final. Per the committee terms of reference, applicants are not disqualified by virtue of participation or association with an organization that may seek grant funding, but are required to declare such potential conflicts in advance and to avoid scoring and evaluating applications where they have a conflict of interest.
